It has been almost three months since our last post! AHHH.
We have been enjoying our time as a family. I never thought I would enjoy being a mom as much as I do. The greatest feeling in the world is when Oliver cries out for me and nothing else will make him stop crying until he sees me and feels me holding him. In that moment, I realize my greatest purpose on this Earth. In that stolen moment of time, nothing in the world matters but him and me. I always thought I would want my child to pass the baby stage quickly and move onto the toddler stage, but I have been finding out that I want the days to slow down. Oliver is growing and learning new things so quickly that I am barely getting to enjoy each new discovery or milestone.
In the past 3 months, Oliver has learned to grab things, pull hair (especially Stephen's beard!), kick like crazy (future soccer player?), smile, laugh, coo, hold his head up, and trying to hold his bottle! He is constantly talking to us and enjoys kicking you! He is now fitting in 3 month clothes and newborn shoes still.
Oliver's first are .. first wedding, first suit, first laugh, first visit to the zoo, first time in a school, first time with Mommy on her birthday, and first visit to the state fair!
I am going to get better about posting weekly because I have left out so many special moments. We are going to Atlanta this weekend for Fall Break!! Oliver is excited to go to the zoo, Aquarium, and World of Coke. A new post is coming soon!
